As a registered Psychotherapist and Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate in the state of Colorado, I am privileged to work with couples and individuals on building and repairing relationships. No matter what your past hurt or trauma may be, it is my passion to walk with each of my clients to help them find strengths in their uniqueness as individuals and as a couple. My work is to empower you to takes steps in healing and experience vitality in your relationships.
Some of the psychotherapy modalities I practice are Client Center Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Strength and Solution Focused Therapy. My experience spans to mental health counselor at a university, family therapist for families with foster or adopted children, individual and couples counseling. My focus has been working with clients on relational issues, depression, anxiety, trauma, addictions, grief and loss. I believe in building a therapeutic relationship with my clients by providing a safe, nonjudgmental, and empowering environment to all my clients.
On a personal note, my husband and I have been married for over 25 years, and we have experienced all of the ups and downs and many challenges marriage has to offer. We have 2 children and 2 Pomeranians (they help us to keep things light!) We enjoy hiking, skiing, and snowboarding with family and friends. We are always on the lookout for new hiking trails. I basically love nature and try to stay active all season long. I personally take time for self-care by curling up with a good book, a soft blanket, and a good cup of coffee!
